Meet Katie Glynn, Owner
I became an occupational therapist because I wanted to help people feel better. But it didn't take long to realize that "feeling better" is a lot more complicated than most medical systems are set up to handle.
I started specializing in lymphatic care and oncology rehabilitation because I kept meeting the same person, over and over: someone in real pain, carrying real fear, who had been passed between doctors and left with more questions than answers. Someone who had been told, in so many words, to just accept it.
Lipedema became a particular focus because I watched how often it got missed, misdiagnosed, or dismissed entirely. I've spent years attending national conferences, digging into the research, and observing lipedema reduction surgery firsthand because my clients deserved someone who understood what they were actually dealing with, not just the basics.
That's why I created Three Bluebirds. The name comes from what bluebirds represent: happiness, joy, hope, love, and renewal. Those words are the actual foundation of how I work with every client because healing is as much emotional and spiritual as it is physical.
When I'm not in the clinic, I'm a wife and mom to three kids and a poodle named George. I love watching sunrises and reminding my clients that healing is a journey, not a destination. And I genuinely believe you're further along than you think.

Meet Melanie!
Three Bluebirds isn't just Katie. Our growing team shares the same deep commitment: treating the whole person, not just the condition. Melanie brings her own expertise and genuine warmth to every client she sees.
With 23 years of experience as an Occupational Therapist, Melanie specializes in lymphatic and post-surgical rehabilitation — including lymphedema management, lipedema care, and post-cosmetic surgery recovery. She brings advanced, evidence-based treatment that supports real healing and real results.
Each summer Melanie volunteers at Camp Watchme, providing education and treatment support to children with lymphedema and their families. Outside the clinic she's a mom to two busy kids, two dogs, and a cat — and whenever she can she's outside kayaking or on the water.

Meet Makeilee!
Makeilee joined Three Bluebirds because she believes the same thing we do. Healing works best when it starts with the whole person, not just the diagnosis.
She has a Doctorate in Occupational Therapy and specializes in lymphatic rehabilitation, post-surgical recovery, and oncology care. Lymphedema management, lipedema, and post-cosmetic surgery rehabilitation are her sweet spot. She earned her CLT through the Norton School of Lymphatic Therapy in 2023 and is also a certified Pilates instructor, which means she brings a genuinely unique understanding of movement and body awareness into every session. That combination is rare and her clients feel the difference.
Outside the clinic Makeilee is usually traveling somewhere new, playing sand volleyball, hitting the trails, or paddleboarding with her two-year-old Goldendoodle causing equal parts fun and chaos alongside her.
